Large Dogs

Max is a Yellow/Gold male Labrador Retriever. He's approximately one year in age. He was found dumped in Dogwood Lakes along with his sister Missy. Both dogs were starving and were eating garbage. I (the webmaster of this site) got both dogs into his truck and took them to Ben's Place using dog biscuits to lure them into the truck.

Max is a well behaved dog and has loads of energy now. He was very good on the ride in the truck and is an extremely friendly boy (lots of kisses). He has shown no aggressive behavior at all. If I didn't have two dogs already I would have taken Max and Missy in.

Missy is Max's sister. She is a female,chocolate Labrador Retriever and she is also approximately one year old. She was found with Max in Dogwood Lakes. They never left each other's sides and were always seen together.

Missy is a very calm dog. She's an absolute sweetheart. They both accompanied anyone that took a walk around the lake.

Both dogs are available for immediate adoption and would be excellent additions to a loving family. Both dogs get along very well with other dogs.

Cloud is a beautiful dog. He also has a great attitude. He's also very tolerant of other dogs and likes people.

Cloud is probably a Husky mix. He looks like a wolf and is just absolutely beautiful. This breed/mix is usually better with people than other animals but Cloud seems to be very tolerant of other dogs. The picture of Cloud doesn't do him justice. He's very handsome.

Selby is a pretty, solid black Labrador Retriever. She is a very sweet girl. She gets along very well with the other dogs at Ben's Place.

Selby is very good with people and absolutely loves some attention but she's also a quiet, easy going girl. We often find her sleeping right up against other dogs. She just loves to be close to them.

If you're interested in adopting this lovely girl you won't be sorry. She's an absolute treat to be around. Come on over to Ben's Place and visit with this wonderful girl.

Leo is a handsome, Black Labrador Retriever. He may be a mix, we're not sure.

Leo is a friendly dog and he's very active. He always wants to see who the new arrivals are and greets anyone that comes to visit with him.

If you're interested in seeing Leo he'd be more than happy to welcome you to Ben's Place. With a little love and patience, Leo can be a great addition to a new family. He's definitely a smart boy.

Zelda has such a great attitude. She was one of the first dogs to greet me when I first arrived at Ben's Place to take photos.

She's a very nice looking dog and she's very well behaved. She's one of the matriarchs at Ben's place. She's often allowed to roam freely around the facility because she can be trusted.

Zelda has short hair and would make a great pet for some lucky family. She's a very happy dog. She's also not as big as many of the larger dogs. Good luck to Zelda in finding a new family to love her.
