Donations Ben's place is always in need of donations to our shelter so that we can care
for our dogs. This page is where you can find out where to send a donation to Ben's Place.
Donations can be sent by check or money order. All gifts sent to Ben's Place go to the
care and welfare of the dogs. We are a not-for-profit, No Kill organization. The number of dogs coming to Ben's Place far exceeds the number of dogs we find

| Some comments from the webmaster
When I first saw Ben's Place listed in our local new paper, the Holmes County Times Advertiser, I knew I'd have to help in some way. I spoke with Wil Morales and offered my meager services and he was happy to accept. He's a great guy that really care's about our community. He saw a need and has worked hard to address it. With no shelters, rescue groups or animal control of any kind in our county, it's a huge task he has undertaken. Now that Ben's Place is in our county, residents are bringing us many stray and unwanted pets. It's overwhelming at times and the entire community isn't even aware that we exist yet. We have so many needs right now it's unbelievable. We need many more dog runs, concrete for the runs, a shelter, leashes, collars, money for medical care, large food and water bowls (stainless steel) and so much more. We need a lot of help. We ask for donations when someone brings us a dog but we don't require it. If we did it could stop some people from bringing us a pet in need. We wouldn't want that. We also ask for a donation when someone wants to adopt a pet but that can be difficult too. We plan on implementing a minimum adoption fee soon but for now it's "give what you can". You can also help by downloading the Yahoo Toolbar (for Internet Explorer Browsers Only). Every search you do sends a small donation to Ben's Place and it's absolutely FREE to use. It even has a popup blocker! What a great way to give! Any help you can give is much appreciated. If there were other rescue groups or another shelter in our county our need wouldn't be so great but we're pretty much alone right now. Thank you to all those who donate their time or money.
