| Ben's Place occasionally advertises dog adoption
days, dog education days and tours of our shelter. We advertise them and post them here on
our calendar so that the community can take advantage of these special events. Special
events will be highlighted in yellow. |
 |
| All shelter events will be posted on the calendar and

friends. Both dog and human! |

Finding a new Dog
|
|
Finding a new dog at our
shelter is really simple. Just browse the listings, view photos of the dogs and get a
little information about them at the same time. The listings are ordered by size from
puppies up to large dogs so that you can easily choose a dog that will fit in well with
your family. Remember, sometimes an adult dog may be the best fit for a family. These dogs
are usually house trained, out of the teething stage and are usually very happy to become
part of a family. Consider adopting a dog from a shelter. It's good for you
and the dog!
|
|
If you find a dog that you may be interested in adopting, please
note the dog's name and give us a call. You can visit our shelter from Monday through
Saturday from 8AM to 5PM. Come on out to the shelter and take a dog for a walk or just
give him a good belly rub! It's a great way to get to know a dog before adopting him or
her. Visit our "Contact Us" page for our phone
number, address and directions to our shelter. |

Ben's Place dog of the
month
|
|
Bella
is a very friendly dog and just came to Ben's Place. She had a family but they no longer
wanted her so they brought her to us.
Bella is a cute and lovable sweetheart. She was a bit shy upon arrival but she
warmed up immediately. She has a wonderful, happy temperament and will make a great
companion for a loving family. |

Where do your shelter donations
go?
|
|
All donations to Ben's Place go to the care of the
dogs living at our shelter and for the upkeep and/or any improvements needed to the
shelter itself. All money donated by sponsors go to supporting the individual animal the
sponsor chose when making his or her donation.
All money donated to Ben's Place is invested in the welfare
and health of the stray, lost and abandoned dogs in our community. Ben's Place is a Not
For Profit dog rescue shelter. |

Recent Adoption success stories
|
|
| Cassie was adopted on April 11th 2007. She has found a home with a
loving family that recently lost a dog. She'll be very happy in her new home. Cassie
was a stray. She was lucky enough to be brought to Ben's Place and to find a home so
quickly. We'll miss her but we are also very happy when a dog finds a new home.
Good luck to Cassie and her new family! |
